A brow lift is a quick treatment with neurotoxins that lasts 2-4 months. A brow lift allows the brows to raise slightly with a focus on the edge/tail of the brow. This is especially helpful in persons who have ‘heavy hooding’ of the upper lid, or who suffer from fatigued eyes at the end of the day. Flat rate charge.
A lip-flip is a quick procedure done with neurotoxin to allow for more ‘pink show’ in the upper lip with results that are noticeable in 3-14 days. On smiling, the use of neurotoxins prevents the lip from pulling upward which can cause patients to feel that the upper lip disappears. This is an excellent option for patients who are nervous about having lip filler done as a lip flip will only last 4-12 weeks. A lip flip may be required in those with a very thin lips who are building with filler.
Injections of neurotoxin to the underarms, palms of hands or soles of feet that shuts down the sweat production for 3-6 months. Flat rate of $1500 per area.
Microtoxin is a method of using neurotoxins injected into the dermis of the skin to allow for improvement in skin texture, softening of wrinkles, and softening of the muscles without impacting the functionality of the muscles. It is best utilized in the neck to improve “goose neck” texture (small bump appearance but without actually feeling bumpy), reduction in horizontal neck lines, skin tightening, or platysmal band improvement. It is also best used on the décolleté to improve the crepe skin.
Neurotoxins are used to directly inject the contracting muscle to provide relief in daily symptoms such as headache, jaw pain, migraines, back/neck/shoulder pain. For trigger point, you can expect 2-6 months of relief. For TMJ or bulky muscle slimming, recommended protocol is initial, f/u at 1 month, re-treatment at 3-4 mths, and semi-annual. Usual treatment starts at 20+ for TMJ, 50+ units/side for bulky muscle @ $13/unit. At follow-up, frequently add’ units needed.
The neurotoxin treatment works by preventing the nerve signals that are responsible for triggering facial muscle contractions. As a result, your facial muscles will not contract as much, reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
BOTOX® and Dysport® work similarly – same price and duration, but Dysport® kicks in a little faster.
BOTOX® typically takes 5 to 7 days for results to appear, while
Dysport® can take 2 to 4 days. Final results can take up to 2 weeks.
Results from BOTOX® and Dysport® generally last about 3 – 4 months.
